Q. Apparently engineers get rings, that's ridiculous, if i kill a member of the order a don the item do i get his/her powers?
A. That's weird, I'd never heard that before. But technically engineers are not scientists. They are more on the practical side of things. Physicists don't get a ring. What is this, a secret club? No wonder it's almost all guys.
How do i give my little sister in law her cell phone in a cute/funny way?
Q. We just bought her older sister (18) a cell phone on our plan. Now for Christmas am giving the Mom and the other sister (16) cell phones. I dont want to call it under the tree but i cant really think of another way? We made the older sister call a number we had on a box and her other gift was ringing. But what is either a cute or funny way for the sister and the mom? Thank you!
A. Wrap it up in a way that it doesnt look like a phone, take it out of the box, put it in something else, like if you have bought any clothes, put it in a pocket, or find a massive box to put it in. Or hide it somewhere in a box and wrap up a clue to where it is.
Can I combine xmas gift and engagement ring?
Q. Is it improper to give an engagement ring as a christmas gift? The ring was so expensive I have no money left for a big present, I was going to give as both. HELP?
A. It would not be a good idea, I think, to combine the giving of the engagement ring with Christmas giving. If you have no money left, that will be no problem for your GF, because the joy of receiving the engagement ring will greatly outweigh not receiving a generic Christmas gift. If you try to combine the two, it will cheapen and make less significant and enjoyable the receipt of the engagement ring. Just explain to her that you put all you could into the engagement ring. If she is the kind of girl who deserves your engagement ring, she will understand. Best wishes.
