Where your gifts left by Santa wrapped or not?

Q. Mine where not, it was always a huge neatly stacked pile, and so were everybodys' I knew. But on Arther Christmas all the gifts delivered were wrapped. How about you?

A. When I have kids in a year or two I want to leave some stuff unwrapped (big things like a bike or doll house or something) then my husband and I want to sew a "Santa bag" and put wrapped gifts in there

I want to post a parcel, and the delivery time is very important, what post I can use?
Q. My friend's birthday is next month, I am living in US and my friend is in London (UK).
I want to send a birthday gift, and I need it to be on time, exactly on my friend's birthday. so what kind of post I can use? or is there any kind of company that I can order Online from US, and the gift delivered in UK?! I mean they bring the gift to my friend.

A. I suggest Fed Ex or UPS rather than the postal service.

However, ensuring an exact delivery day for international shipments is not always easy, so don't count on it. The big problem is clearing customs, because you never really know how long it will take.

So - call the Fed Ex customer service number, for example,
http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/call/index.html
and ask them about doing this.

It _might_ be possible for you to send it many days in advance, to ensure that it clears customs in time, then have it held in a local depot until the day specified for delivery. Give them a call.

This is the UPS contact info:

DHL also ships internationally:

Is it legal for an elected official to give gifts to city employees during a re-election bid?
Q. A sitting councilman is a current candidate for mayor. Gifts were placed at city employee work stations with a note to remember him and his candidate of choice for an open seat on the council on election day. The gifts were delivered after regular work hours at a city facility. Is this legal and how do community members report the activity to the election committee or should we waste our time reporting the activity . The election is November 6.

A. This doesn't sound legal and I bet you better contact the City Manager to advise that this practice is very wrong or at the very least not a good idea.
