Can cast iron pans be engraved/personalized?

Q. I have cast iron pan sets that have been passed down from the grandmoms on both sides of the family. I would like to engrave the name of the original owner on each so that when they are passed on to the next generation their history will not be lost.

Also, I thought it would be neat to give as a wedding gift a personalized/engraved cast iron pan.
If they can be engraved/personalized, who does it? I can't find someone that will do it.

A. Of course they can be engraved . Go to anyone who has one of those metal engravers .
Any metal shop near you are work shop will have one because they engrave there tools in case they are stolen . Place an add in your paper or even on Craig's list asking the questions " Can someone engrave my pots pls. and am willing to pay " ask this question for people in your area you will want to take them and wait for them .
Do not mail them to anyone . Keep it local to you and acquire a receipt if you are leaving them .

What are some good anniversary gifts for a girl?
Q. We're both 15(: . I want the gift to be personalized. So Maybe a photo album or a necklace or something. I don't really know. Helppppp.

A. I am a 15 year old girl so something really sweet would be a cute picture frame with a picture of the two of you kissing, or doing something cute like that. Or maybe a cute personalized necklace that says, something like a heart with your name and her name in it. i would love both of those

Is this a lame gift idea for my girlfriend?
Q. My girlfriend and I have been together for over five years. I have given her many pieces of jewelry as well as other common and not so common gift ideas. We have been doing it long distance for the last 1.5 years which kind of plays into the theme of the gift I was thinking of giving her for xmas this year. The gift is a personalized throw pillow on one side it is a cute picture of both of my dogs on my family's boat with their tiny dog life preservers on. On the back it is a good picture of us both on a trip Cancun this Summer, in text underneath it says "Cancun, 2012" and centered underneath that "I love you". The pillow is a light pink color that fits in with the color of her bed. I was thinking this would be nice since we do not currently live together as it has pictures of both us together and my dogs that she loves. I am worried however that this is a lame gift... I am also planning on getting her some chocolates or something along those lines and obviously a card.

What do you think, lame idea or a nice idea?

A. No, that is not a lame idea. That is a great gift. I think your girlfriend is going to be very happy.
