Q. My sister-in-law paid for my hair, makeup, and nails to be done for my wedding. The total cost was around $200. What would be a good thank you gift under $50? She is married, so I think it should be something that her husband could also enjoy.
A. I agree with Suz. If you really feel the need to do something though, consider treating the two of them to a nice meal with you and your husband. You could always make something at home to keep it in budget. Once you've had a chance to settle into married life of course.... :)

Q. she is a very smart women but her mind is going a little bit so I can't buy her puzzle books anymore and I her being sad because of it because she loves crosswords.

A. Make a scrap book of photos you've gathered from family and friends and put brief captions underneath like" You, Jenny and Josh picnicking 1982" Maybe have family write a favorite memory of her and put that on a page with the photo of the two of them together, also.
Then spend a few hours with her on her birthday, being remembered and visited will mean more to her and a scrap book will help her with those memories.

Q. I have no clue what to get my older brother for Christmas.My parents are going to help me pay for whatever it is, but I can't get him something too expensive and i don't think he wants clothes. He has an iPad2,iPod,blackberry and xbox (yes he is spoiled) so i really don't know what else i could get for him. I'd like to keep the gift under $50 Please help!

A. If he likes a certain sports team you could buy him a sweatshirt with their logo on it. If he lives on his own maybe a nice coffee maker? How about a docking station or speakers for his ipod?
