A. send her a card, gift, and lots of flowers!
What is a good gift that says, "hi I'm your sons respctable gf, thank you for having me in your home"?
Q. My boyfriend wants to take me home for a long weekend to meet his family. I think it would be a kind gesture to bring along a gift, like flowers or something for their home. Would this be weird? Any suggestions for a gift?
A. A positive home pregnancy test. The whole family will get a big laugh out of it. :)
Edit: What in the world is wrong with this answer? A joke gift is a great way to break the ice, especially with in-laws. Such a gift says, "Hey, you can relax and be yourselves around me. I'm regular folk and can roll with the punches."

Convenience of giving flowers to a date?
Q. I'm thinking about giving my date flowers next time we go out but the thought that comes to mind is that isn't it kinda uncomfortable to like carry around flowers for the period of the date? Like what's the proper etriquet for gifting flowers?
A. It depends on what you do on the date!
If you're picking her up from her house, then flowers are fine because she can put them in water before she leaves.
If you're meeting her at a restaurant and having dinner, but then dropping her straight home, they're fine too, especially as she'll feel pretty special carrying them out of the restaurant in front of all the other diners.
Anything else? Probably best not to bring them with you. It can be quite inconvenient to cart a bunch of flowers around everywhere.
If the date goes really well maybe you could consider getting flowers sent to her the next day to thank her for an amazing night!
