Q. I'm just curious when other parents put the Christmas gifts under the tree? Do you usually put them under the tree as you buy and wrap them or do you wait until Christmas Eve?
If you wait until Christmas Eve, what time is it usually after your done bringing out all the gifts?
We wait to put any gifts to our daughter under our tree until Christmas Eve. Family members gifts along with gifts to and from my husband and I go under the tree as they are bought. Usually we bring out all the gifts after our daughter has gone to bed, which can sometimes be rather late because she is so excited the night before Christmas and she's usually still wound up from spending the evening at my parents house opening gifts. There is no way that we could put anything under our tree that belonged to her because the minute I would leave the room to shower, everything would be opened.

A. I bring them out on christmas eve after I'm sure he's asleep, he's 5 and still a believer. We spend christmas eve with family so by the time we get home, settled, and finally asleep it's close to 12am. I always pre-wrap the gifts so it's just a matter of digging them out of hiding and setting them under the tree

I'm 16 and a girl. I bought my friend a $20 gift card to her favorite store, and i want to get her something small, under $5, to give to her with the gift card.

What are some unique/cutesy/cool holiday gifts for my friends?
Q. We are all teenagers around the ages of 14-15. You'd think I would be able to shop for them myself, but it's not easy. I have six friends that I'm going to give gifts to this year, and I don't have a ton of money. What are some great gifts under $10? (preferably under $5) I can't bake cookies so don't say that :)
A. a coupon for a Red Box rental, or dvd you already have and a slumber party with popcorn and soda and pizza??? or whatever it is that you and that friend enjoy....
or a coupon for a manicure done by you for them... or a "make over session" by you for them -- I still love to have my hair and makeup done - even if it is just for fun!! :)
I think gifts from the heart, with THAT person in mind are so much better than things you can buy at a store.
Maybe it's just an ice cream cone treat, and an hour or two of hang time - - that is still special. :)
