Q. Many stores including grocery stores, CVS, Walmart, etc. have those racks of gift cards from other vendors (Old Navy, Visa, Cheesecake Factory, Macys, etc.) at the register. If I were to purchase an Old Navy gift card at Walmart, would this appear on my credit card statement as a purchase from Walmart or a purchase from Old Navy?
A. It will show up as a purchase from the store you bought it at. If you buy an Old Navy gift card at Wal-Mart it will show up as a Wal-Mart purchase.
Where can i sell a gift card i do not want?
Q. I got an old navy gift card for 50 dollars.Thats alot of money and i do not shop there or like anything the have.I was wondering if i could sell it somewhere online for like 35-45 bucks(its a 50 dollar gift card remember).Any advise?
A. quizzard has a point. Though you may have to go to an Old Navy store and have them print a receipt showing the balance, but make sure it is dated to lend validity. You may consider taking it to some charitable organization (with the receipt) and donating it, they may make good use of it.
Is it okay to wear a navy & white striped sweater with black slacks and black shoes?
Q. I've always thought navy and black clash but I don't have any brown or nude slacks/shoes to wear with it and maybe things have changed. Thanks!
