Q. Im thinking about christmas gift ideas for both my head instructor and my assistant instructor. My head instructor is a cool hip hop guy in his 20s, hip hop is basically his life. And I have a crush on my assistant instructor, she's 16, very short yet cute. She really likes starbucks,I'm thinking about a $25Starbucks gift card and a Starbucks bottle for her. Any better ideas tho to give a person I have crush on?Also should I give her the present from a friend perspective or a student perspective?
A. The starbucks gift card is a great idea but to me it saids student perspective. Because you have a crush on her and sort of want to let her know, I suggest something a little more personal. Get her the Starbucks cup (because she likes it) with maybe a piece of jewelry. I just discovered a super cool site that sells really nice jewelry and all at $10. Everything is gold plated or crystals so really nice an feminine.

What is chronic procrastination & how do you deal with it?
Q. My "husband" of 19 years suffers with severe procrastination. I take care of everything in our relationship...paying the bills, grocery shopping, housework, laundry, appointments, letter writing, buying christmas gifts, handling family issues...everything. I have done this for 19 years and am honestly sick of it. I'm ready to bail.
I looked up chronic procrastination and found that many adults who suffer with this also have/have had ADD or ADHD. Many suffer with depression as well.
I do too much and I'm wearing out fast. I can't take care of anymore adult "children". Anyone out there with similar problems or who knows much about this?

A. You are ready to bail. Have you talked to your husband about this.
Remember that you have to look after yourself first before you can look after anyone else.
Does your husband at least work bring home the income for the family. If he doesn't then I don't blame you for Bailing. Have you tried couples counseling.
You don't say whether you work as well. May be he looks upon his job as bringing home the income and yours as looking after the house. If this is the case and you want a change tell him.

How do i convince my boyfriend not to buy me gifts?
Q. My boyfriend keeps trying to buy me gifts for our monthly anniversarry's and no matter how many time i tell him not to buy me anniversary gifts or a birthday gift or a christmas gift he refuses to listen! I've never never liked gifts. i believe you should have to work for and earn everything you get! but when i tell him that he just says that it makes him want to buy me a gift even more! what do i do to convince him!?!?!?!?!
A. My ex did the same thing! I started getting annoyed. I started giving him weekly gifts and awful ones too. I bought him things like old man hats, scarves, and even a cane! (Which I called a walking stick for his hiking). After like 3 months of this, he told me to stop, he said, "You're dressing me like an old man!" I acted really sad and I said, "Well you got me gifts so I just wanted to do the same!" And he told me that he didn't want me buying gifts for him anymore. I told him that it wasn't fair that he gave me gifts and I couldn't give him gifts. He told me that he would stop then too. Then, that was the end of that problem. He stopped and maybe your bf might stop too if you do this. Good luck!
