Q. Okay, so my mom and dad's anniversary is on May 16 and my dad bought her the iPad for $530. All my mom knows is he spent $530. She wants to spend around that same price range to buy him a really cool electronic.
What should she get him? What are some really cool electronics he'd like?
Thanks!

A. Congratulations to your parents on their anniversary.
I think it depends on what your dad likes.
Does he golf? If he does, consider getting him a golf gps and a laser range finder.
Does he like to read? How about a Kindle or Nook or Sony e-reader?
Does he like photography? Canon digital cameras and handicams are awesome. My friend is in photography school and did a test between Canon and Nikon cameras on the same setting and found Canon takes better pictures.
Does he love movies? How about giving him the gift of netflix and a Roku. It's not in the 500 range you're looking for but he can stream movies on the home tv and it's pretty cool. If you want to bump it up to the $500 range you can also add in a home audio system.
Definitely find something that fits his personality. I hope I've given you some good ideas and that you find this post helpful.

What are some major electronics stores in Australia?
Q. I live in Canada but have a friend living in NSW, Australia for whom I would like to order some dvds and an external hard drive for her birthday. Because of region coding and the cost of shipping internationally I want to order from a trustworthy electronics store in Australia but I don't want to spoil the surprise by asking her about it. Any information would be appreciated! Thank you so much in advance!
A. If you want to buy online then look at Dick Smith (dse.com.au), or JB HIFI (jbhifi.com.au)... Both have very good prices and an online store where you can buy products, pay for them and I think even have the gift wrapped before they are shipped straight to your friend...
Also, for the DVD's, Sanity.com.au is a big online CD/DVD retailer - I've bought stuff from them before and they seem pretty decent.
Hope this helps :)

Can you help me come up with the perfect Christmas gift for my electronically-oriented adult son?
Q. He loves music, but he has never used the MP3 player I got him for his birthday. He loves electronics and his great at repairing them. I really think he should go into the electronic repair field. What is a good tool that everyone who likes repairing electronics should have?
A. I don't think that another gadget will make him happy!!!!Try some electronics kits with tools for electronics and never be mad if he will take apart some electronics device that you own.
