Q. I am selling an item and I am going to offer to ship it to Canada via USPS International Priority. They quote me that the price will be $29.10. I have never shipped to Canada before and I am in the US. Is there any fees, forms, or special procedures I have to go through in order to get this shipped?
A. YES! Beware. I am a Canadian who shops on eBAY frequently.
1) Customs/Duty - when you go to send the package you must specify whether its a gift or business item. Gifts under $200 pay no duty. They will give you a green sticker to fill out for this.
2) IF you use USPS you are fine but if you use UPS standard there will be brokerage fees due to the recipient before they may receive the package and they can be quite stiff ($50+) If they refuse to pay them you are liable!

Where can I buy a cast iron or cast aluminum mailbox in Canada?
Q. I'm desperately looking for a cast iron or cast aluminum pedestal mailbox for a Christmas gift. Does anyone know where I can buy one (preferably an actual store but online is ok too) in Ontario Canada. I've found lots online from companies that won't ship to Canada.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A. IN america
