Q. I am looking for a gift for my son. He is going to be turning 17 but really wants to be an astronaut. His birthday is coming up soon and I want to know what a great gift idea would be for him? I am not looking to spend more than 250 dollars max. Just something that is unique and interesting but not too expensive. If its a really good idea then I will be willing to stretch the budget!

A. I certainly go with visiting a major air and space museum. A trip to the Smithsonian would be awesome. My mom took me on a road trip (Oregon to DC and back) when I was a teen. It was awesome.
The highlight was the Smithsonian. Spent a week in just one building and barely saw anything else.

Q. I don't know what I should get her for Christmas as it is approaching. At least for me I consider it close because it is my favorite holiday(108 days). She is very special to me and I would like to know what a great gift would be. Her birthday and valentines day are close together. But for v-day I think taking her out to dinner and giving her flowers would be nice. Her bday and Christmas I don't know what to give her.

for example ten years ago my boy (we live in england ) wanted to go to new york, so i took him there and we had a helicopter ride over the area(i know you cant do this any more) but i took pictures of him in the helicopter and views of the area, he has these printed and hung on his wall
sometimes it is not the article that you give but the experience that will remain in the persons memory for ever. hope that helps:-)
