Q. I'm 23, single and female, I still live with my parents. I bought my mom & dad each a card and a small box of candy for my mom. I'm not sure I want to give it to them...I've never gotten them a gift on Valentines.
As parents would you like a gift from you adult kids today?

A. yes, give it to them! its very sweet of you. When you move out, they will cherish it, and that you thought of them. I STILL have a Valentine's day card from well over 10 years ago, from my dad. He died in 2002. There's nothing wrong or weird about a nice gesture for a family member on a holiday.
Should I get her a gift for valentines day?
Q. I just met this girl a week ago. We've been out on 1 date and had a good time. We haven't slept together or even kissed yet. I'm hoping tonight. We talk on the phone every day and we both consider each other as more then friends. But not yet bf gf. Do I get a gift for valentines day? And if yes, then what?
A. Some flowers, chocolate, or a nice Vday card will do... just to let her know that you're thinking about her. You don't want to go overboard because you don't actually want to make her think that you're moving things too fast.
