A. I assume 10 dollars each? Good options include chocolate or candy. It's small and always fun. Gift cards are good, although 10 dollars is not a lot. If your colleagues are female, lotions or other skin care samples are fun. If they're male, perhaps something sports or hobby related?

A. there are all sorts of books available for those interests that might be nice. Also look into some of the PC programs for creating Macromedia Flash or maybe Visual Basic type stuff. In the range of video games you kinda left a broad spectrum as you did not describe the type of game she likes. So if she is interested in designing things you may consider one of the new Sim City type games.
