What would be a good anniversary gift?

Q. I been with my boyfriend for almost 4years now.. June 14th will be 4years and im not good at coming up with ideas or gifts for anniversaries and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for me what to do?

A. Take him on a getaway weekend to a bed and breakfast.

What should I get my 18 year old boyfriend for valentines day?
Q. We have been together for 2 and a half years, and I have completely run out of ideas of what to get him. I have spent a lot of time coming up with ideas for really nice gifts for anniversaries and birthdays, so a ring, an iPod, and such items are out of the question.I know that he is getting me something big, so i don't want to give him something that makes it seem like I don't care. HELP ME!

A. i can suggest you log onto walgreens.com and check out the mugs they have . you may add a photo or your names to it . i think this would be great and add a nice card to make it even better. if not you can try some cologne. usually not too expensive at the right places.

does he play video games? you can get him the latest game whether he has a wii, an xbox or a play station 3 .

its really the thought that counts i learned that even celebs dont get the most expensive gifts , usually rich people have it all right? they go for origionality something personalized from the heart which makes it so special . Good Luck

It would be nice to give him a little something even as small as a gift card . eventually anything you get him will make him smile because its coming from you and you are special to him :-)

What do you give your grandparents on their 47th wedding anniversary?
Q. I want to give my grandparents a gift for their anniversary without breaking my bank. I'm wondering what the best thing would be, specifically, for the 47th anniversary.

A. My parents have celebrated their 53rd (their 54th in is 3 weeks) . I gave them a new quilt for their 50th and am currently quilting another one. By the time they've been together that long, they generally have everything that they need. Ask them what they would like. My folks can't easily go out to a restaurant any more, so I periodically ask Mom if she wants a break from cooking and I go to a restaurant and buy them the whole meal and take it to them. Last week, it was barbecued ribs. They don't need stuff (although they needed quilts to replace blankets that are worn out).

My parents normally celebrated their anniversary by going for an ice cream cone and the latest popular movie. These days, I buy them a DVD of whatever has just come out that they might like plus ice cream and waffle cones.
