Q. I need ideas for a story. The couple is married with children, but they're under 25. The guy's interests are basketball, drama, and singing, and the girl's interests are chemistry, singing, and drama. Oh, and the guy's an assistant b-ball coach and a drama club leader, and the girl's also a drama club leader and a chemistry teacher.
A. well, im 24 and my husband is 23. We have two kids as well.... Lets see, last year I got him a nice pocket watch, an Xbox 360, games for the Xbox, a shirt, and various other small items. This year I got him a bunch of nice clothes, a new wedding band since his was a cheap one and agree'd to get him a new one when we had the money. I had it engraved on the inside as well. I also him more games for his Xbox, a calender, a wallet, a few hats, a new nice shaver... things like that. As far as my husband. Hes gotten gift cards in the past, as well as a pair of earrings (which I hated LOL), DVD's, journals, a mouse for my laptop, things like that. LOL, usually nothing all that great, but I make sure he feels like he did the greatest job every :) Im just happy to be with him on christmas.
What should I put on my Christmas list?
Q. Hey guys, I've got a problem. Tons of people are asking me for my christmas list and I don't know what I want. I have an iPad, iPod, tv, phone, camera, etc. I don't need electronics. I have some gift cards but I like to give people good ideas. I need people to give me good ideas for items under $25. And Im very hard to please, (that's why I don't have a list made yet) so good luck!
A. If you are into music, instruments, mutes, or repair/maintainence equipment is always something people enjoy giving. Two years ago I got a didgeridoo (an aboriginal instrument, costs between $20-$400 depending on type) and a violin. People love to give gifts which are truly unique, and music can often help with that. Another gift which is cheap, yet creative are novel-Tee's; t-shirts which are unique and that most people will be amused by. One of my personal favorites is based on a joke from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (the part at the beginning about the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow) but there are many different kinds of novel-Tee's for people who like a wide variety of things. (I got my t at http://www.giftsforageek.com/product/airspeed_velocity_swallow_dark_t_shirt_126022007)
If you are of the college age, give gift ideas of things which you will be needing at school. This is not unique, but it does save time from having to get it yourself. Books, tickets to special events, and even food items like candy, chololates, coffee mixes, these are all inexpensive gifts which people usually like to give and recieve. In general, to give someone an idea of an inexpensive gift to give that you want to recieve, you need to know what you like best, and who the giver is; I would never ask my mother for a powertool because she'd be lost when purchasing it; nor would I ask my dad for clothing. Good luck, and Merry Christmas!

What do you do on christmas eve and morning?
Q. On christmas eve, all the family comes round and we open some presents and have a little buffet. We then go to church until about midnight.
On christmas day I wake up at about 6 am and play on my phone, read books etc until I'm aloud to go downstairs at 8:30am. :( late I know
I open some more presents, and then the family comes round for lunch.

A. Well, when I was little and lived in Brazil it went like this: The family would get together on Dec 24 and hang out (kids would do their thing while adults did theirs, mainly). Then at around 8/9 ish we would have supper, and then go back to hanging out. When it was almost midnight the kids would hide in one room, and grownups in another, so Santa could come by. We couldn't leave the room until a grownup came to let us know Santa had gone. (The incentive to not burst out on Santa was that if we did he'd be scared away and take ALL our presents with him). When I was really little Santa's present was put under the tree with the others. Later, by age 5/6 Santa would hide our presents and we'd go on a mad treasure hunt (think Easter egg hunting, but with a gift instead). We also had a little manger that lay empty during December, and then at midnight we would put a porcelain baby Jesus on it to signify it was Christmas Day.
Nowadays my mom and I live in Canada - we make a list of yummy food we like and either buy or make it, and watch tv/play games, open christmas crackers, etc all day until supper. Then we hang out some more, and put our presents under the tree at midnight to open them (we can't put them under the tree beforehand cause my dog understands the concept of presents and tries to open them all to find hers). On Christmas Day we open our stockings. :)
On Dec 25th I go over to my dad's and celebrate it with him, his girlfriend, her daughter, and their cats. lol I think this year some of her family might be there too. We open gifts, eat yummy food, and basically hang out and play games.
